Obituary for Victor Castanet
Victor Castanet, 48, of Franklin, NC and Miami, FL, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010.
Born in Cuba, he was the son of Maria A. Puebla and the late Miguel Castanet. He was a US Army Veteran. Victor loved animals and exotic birds. He was a good husband, father, brother and son who will be greatly missed. And he was the love of Marta’s life.
In addition to his beloved mother, Maria, he is survived by his wife, Marta Castanet; two children, Samantha Lanatta and husband Cesar of Miami, FL and Victor “Mick” Miguel Castanet of Franklin; four sisters, Kitty Stepner of Las Vegas, NV, Vickie Halperin of Savannah, GA, Dora Beatty and Mari Castanet both of Miami, FL and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, at St. Agnes Episcopal Church. The Reverend Dori Pratt officiated.
Macon Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
