Obituary for Terri Parker Slavens

Terri Parker Slavens, 57, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015.

Born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, she was the daughter of Myrtle Branham Parker and the late Martin Parker Jr. Terri owned and operated Children’s Discovery Center in Franklin and was known by many as Ms. Terri. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Parker Slavens and wife Ashton of Vero Beach, FL; two sisters, Cynthia Harrison of Franklin and Lynda Palmer of Live Oak, FL; five grandchildren, Evelyn, Landon, Gage, Blaine and Siler and several nieces and nephews.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
