Obituary for Stanley Earl Cooper

Stanley Earl  Cooper
Stanley Earl Cooper, 75, of Franklin, passed away in his home on Saturday, September 20, 2008. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Franklin, NC. A native of Mankato, Minnesota, he was the son of Hubert D. Cooper and Clara A. Cooper. He was preceded in death by sister, Lorraine Pieterman, and brother Loren Cooper.

He is survived by his wife, Deanna Cooper of Franklin and sons Thomas Cooper of Atlanta, GA and Timothy Cooper of Asheville, NC; brother, Ronald Cooper of Texas and many nieces and nephews. Stan served several churches as an officer including president, he taught children in confirmation instruction, he sang in church choirs and whenever and wherever he could.

A memorial service will be held at 2PM, Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 235 Sloan Road, Franklin, North Carolina. Rev. Paul C. Herbert will officiate.

Macon Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
