Ruby Hodges Schrock, 77, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2006.

A native of Oliver, GA, she was the daughter of the late Leon N. Hodges and Addie Hinely Hodges. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Audrey Stump and Helen Pearce. Ruby was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved her church family, Sunday School Class and loved participating in the church choir.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Larry Schrock; two sisters, Reba Smith of Covina, CA and Hilda Hodges of Lomita, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 22, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Harold Ball and Rev. Jim Dusek will officiate. Burial will be in the Higdonville Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Friday, at Macon Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Elevator Fund, 69 Iotla Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
