Obituary for Rosalind Claire Worthington (T'kach)

Mrs. Rosalind “Roz” Worthington, 93, of Franklin, NC passed away Saturday December 26, 2020 at Macon Valley Nursing Home.

Roz was the daughter of the late Fred and Eva T’kach, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Worthington. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded by her brothers; Edward Von Rothkirch and Harold T’kach, sister in-law; Mary T’kach.

Surviving Roz are her children; Robin (Douglas) Moseley, Jill (Randy) Park and Fred C. Worthington III, grandchildren; Daniel Park, David (Kendra) Park, James Park, Brandon Moseley and Taylor Moseley, one great grandson; Cole Park, several nieces and nephews as well.

Roz was a reservationist and retired from both Eastern & Continental Airlines. Roz spoke three languages, Spanish/French/English, traveled the world with her husband Fred, who was a writer and she and Fred moved and lived in Belize for two years while he wrote. She was a photographer back during WW-II, when women had to keep things going in the US while the men were off to war, which landed her the opportunity in 1955 to photograph opening day at Disneyland in California.

No services are planned in the Franklin, NC area. Her cremated remains will be inurned in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida with her husband at a later date.
