Roberta Enloe Parker, 91, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2008.

A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Jefferson Halen and Jessie Roberta Hester Enloe. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Parker who died in 1974; her sisters, Helen Enloe Snyder and Mary Enloe; brothers, Jeff H. Enloe, Jr., Harold E. Enloe, Robert L. Enloe and John Jefferson Enloe and niece, Eugenia Enloe Bradley. Roberta graduated from Maryville College in Tenn. and received her masters degree from the University of North Carolina. She was a beloved aunt, former teacher in the Macon County School System, a devoted and active member of Memorial United Methodist Church, active in her community and a member of the Macon County Retired School Teachers.

She is survived by sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Ruth Enloe of Franklin, Helen Parker of Franklin, Bill and Dot Parker of Alabama, Kenneth and Emily Crawford of Franklin and James G. and Mary Nell Thompson of South Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 25, at Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. Keith Newell and Rev. Bob Goldstein will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Neal Parker, Dean Parker, Hayes Snyder, Bill Enloe, Jay Enloe &Michael Enloe.
