Robert E. Rostallon, 76, of Franklin, passed away Friday, May 30, 2008.
Born in Laurens, SC, he was the son of the late James Louie Pulley and Mary Helen Strickland Pitts. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Jack and Bill Pulley. Robert was a retired Iron Worker and served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mireille Alley Rostallon; two children, James and wife Laurie Rostallon of Franklin and John Rostallon of Toccoa, GA; one sister, Polly Hollaway of McCormick, SC; one brother, John Pulley of Dahlonega, GA; two half-brothers, Earl Strickland of Hendersonville, NC and Gene Strickland of Zephyr Hills, FL; one half-sister, Caroline Alligood of Crystal River, FL; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2008 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Ronnie Owens will officiate. The VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108 will conduct military rites.
The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service.
