Obituary for Richard Joseph Pancratz

Richard Pancratz, 73, of Franklin, entered into eternal rest Monday, December 25, 2006.

Born on March 14, 1933, in Lake Helen, Florida, Mr. Pancratz grew up in the Daytona Beach area graduating from Mainland High School in 1950. A carpenter by trade, he owned and operated Richard's Floor Surfacing for 38 years before retiring to Franklin in 1991. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Korean War Veteran.

He is survived by his loving wife, Audie; son, Michael of San Jose, CA; three daughters, Kelly Nixon and husband Terry of Port Orange, FL, Sherri Osterlund and husband Jeff of Houston, Texas and Wendi Cloer and husband Lee of Franklin; brother, A. Arnold Pancratz of Jackson, MS; and four grandchildren, Natalie and Carson Osterlund and Audra and Caleb Cloer.

Funeral Services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, December 29, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Rogers will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Friday, at Macon Funeral Home.
