Pearl N. Lewis, 66, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009.
Born in Macon Co. he was the son of the late Arastus “Rass” M. Lewis and Rachel Cary Anderson Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Bates Lewis, who passed away in 2007; two sisters, Betty Robbins and Mildred Lewis and brother, Walter Lewis. Pearl was a member of Prentiss Church of God.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Nichols and husband Tony of Franklin and son, Mike Lewis of Franklin; daughter-in-law, Amanda Shomber Lewis of Stuttgart, Germany; brother, John Elmore Lewis of Franklin; granddaughter, Finley Madden Lewis and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Prentiss Church of God. Rev. Don Moffitt, Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Tim Hayes will officiate. Burial will be in Rush Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Decker, Jeremy Decker, Barry Downs, Dennis Downs, Greg Bates, Danny Bates and Caleb Bates.
