Patricia Wishon, 78, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020.

Born in Alexandria, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Leslie Greene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Cleveland Wishon and a sister, Joan Smallwood. She was a very active member of Coweeta Baptist Church. Patricia loved going to the flea markets, yard sales and thrift shops where she searched for treasures.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tracey Daynes and husband Mark of Orlando, Florida and Robin Kane and husband Rusty of Green Cove Springs, Florida; a sister, Jackie Saunders of Summerfield, NC; granddaughter, Courtney Smith; great-grandchildren, Ava, Gwen and Hudson and several nieces and nephews.

No services are planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Appalachian Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

It was a pleasure to know Pat and be her pastor for several years. I remember Willie and his passing and how she came to Coweeta and worked tirelessly. She was a great lady and wonderful friend to me. Family you are in my prayers. God Bless You. Pastor Davis Hooper

She was a great lady,had so much fun at Woodhaven with her and your dad.I know the feeling you are going thru but we know we will see them again.Tracey if there is anything I can do please let me know.I know we have went different churches now but the Wishons was a big part of Woodhaven and we love all of you.God Bless you and your family.

So sorry to hear this and especially on Mother’s Day. I picture Willie standing there waiting on her and take comfort they are reunited. There was never a lack of love in the family and many wonderful memories including the famous fish frys... so lucky my brother married into this loving family... always here for you... ❤️ Deb, Ben, Andrew and Erin

My best friend Pat Wishon went to be with her Heavenly Father Mother’s Day morning . Pat and I were either on the phone message each other or with each other. We did a lot if things together flea market shopping Drs visits cooking for each other. Pat I’m going to miss your potato salad . I love you and I do miss being your sidekick . It’s lonely here without you. My prayers fir Tracey
