Obituary for Pansy Lou Long

Pansy Lou Crisp Long, 84, of Franklin, died on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.

A native of Haywood County, she is the daughter of the late Everett Ernest and Ruth Ann Sanders Long. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy McConnell, Betty Sanders, and Marie Williams. Pansy was a member at Windy Gap Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting. She loved spending time with her family and was always willing to give a helping hand.

She is survived by one son, Terry Crisp; one daughter, Diane McConnell (Michael) both of Franklin; brother, Bobby Long of Umatilla, FL; and two sisters, Shirley Flake of Umatilla, FL and Josephine Stevens of New Broughton, AL. She is also survived by four grandsons, Brian McConnell, Chad McConnell, Josh Crisp, and Travis Crisp: and seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be at the Windy Gap Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Mark Bishop will officiate.

Due to Covid 19, the family asks masks to be worn and social distancing be practiced.
