Obituary for Norman Lloyd Leedom

Norman Lloyd Leedom, 80, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007.

A native of Lincoln Park, Michigan, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ester Mitchell Leedom. Norman was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and was an auto mechanic. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a choir member.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Donna Mae Johnson Leedom; three children, James Norman Leedom and Kathleen Jo Leedom both of Franklin, and Deanna Dee Ray of Independence, Missouri; one sister, Beatrice Herbert and husband, Bert of Florida; two grandchildren, Ryan Ray of Independence, Missouri and Christina Copeland and husband Jim of Independence, Missouri and five great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at the First Presbyterian Church. Rev. Bob Abel will officiate.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
