Obituary for Norman Q Heckel

Norman Q. Heckel, son of the late Q.R. and Mildred Heckel, went to his Heavenly home on June 3, 2020.
He was born in Findlay, Ohio in 1938 and the family moved to Fort Myers, Florida in 1951 where he spent most of his adult life. Norman married the late Patricia Louise Geller. He is survived by their four children; Susan A. Harrelle (Max), Norman “Butch” (Sylvia), Daniel Nathan and Amy P. Dale (Mike); fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Max, Wayne and Richard; three sisters, Pat Yenour, Judy Shroyer (Eric) and Nanci Erp (Rob); several nieces and nephews and many, many friends. In 2003 he married Peggy Beyrodt Foreman of Lexington, KY and Boca Raton, FL, where they lived before moving to Franklin in 2008.
Norman was a member of both the local Christ-Community Church and the New Hope Christian Church in N. Fort Myers, Florida. He was employed by UPS where he was a loyal employee for 29 years. His greatest joys were his family and serving others. Norman was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand and was held in high regard by all his friends and family members and loved dearly by all.

A memorial service will be held later in the year at New Hope Christian Church, North Fort Myers, Florida.
