Obituary for Nancy Elizabeth Stamp
Nancy Woods Stamp left us on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
She was born on January 31, 1978, along with her twin Benjamin, in Newnan, GA to parents John P. Woods Jr. and Elizabeth Anderson Woods.
She is survived by her husband Jim and Shelby, their golden retriever of Cashiers, NC. Nancy has three brothers: John, DeWitt (Amy), and Benjamin (Ericka) all residing in the Cashiers area along with Pangie (Scott) Yeager of Newnan GA. Nancy is also survived by her aunt and dear friend Joan Anderson of Cashiers. Her other Woods family are nieces: Caroline, Mackenzie and Anne-Elizabeth and nephews Patrick, Anderson and Hank of Cashiers. Nancy is also survived by her mother-in- law and father-in-law Von and Bob Stamp of Florence, SC and her sister-in-law Vonni Stamp of Round Hill, VA.
Nancy had a beautiful soul and found the best in everyone. She was a constant ray of sunshine to all who knew her. Whoever receives her blue eyes will be blessed to find goodness, kindness, and sincerity in everything. Nancy was a partner and Vice-President of Operations with BCDA, LLC of Cashiers, NC.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents John and Nancy (MaMa) Anderson of Florence, SC and John P. Woods (Big John) of Cashiers and Martha (Gams) Woods of Jasper GA. Her paternal grandparents: Dehra Harrell and Grandad Stamp of Florence.
A private family memorial service will be held on Sunday October 9, 2022, Pastor Aryn will officiate.
