Obituary for Monica Louise Stamey

Monica Louise  Stamey
Monica Louise Stamey, 32, of Franklin, passed away Monday, January 4, 2010.

Born in Jackson Co, she was the daughter of Joyce McMahan and Robert Herron. She was a bank teller at State Employees Credit Union and a student at Southwestern. Monica was a loving mother and very active in Cystic Fibrosis fundraising.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Roger Stamey of Franklin; son, Dorian Provincher of the home; sister, Kimberley Stanley and husband Scottie; brothers, Chris Houston and wife Anna and Brandon Herron and wife Kirssa and step mother, Kaye Herron all of Franklin; three nephews, Noah, Jonah and Gavin; two nieces, Madeline and Sarah and grandparents, Leona McMahan of Sylva and Grace Houston of Franklin.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Longview Baptist Church. Reverends Steve Reeves, Nick Smith and Cadon Fouts will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Scottie Stanley, Chris Houston, Brandon Herron, Randy Hedden, Ronnie Hedden, Keith Nations and Davey Conner.

Brett Farley, Jeff Stanley, Noah Stanley and Michael Provincher will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
