Obituary for Mildred Ann Carver (McMahan)
Mildred Ann Carver, 85, of Franklin, NC, passed away at her residence on September 14, 2022. As Mildred would say, “her transfer papers are completed”, she is walking on streets of gold.
She was the daughter of the late John Roscoe and Hattie Jones McMahan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Frank A Carver, two brothers: John McMahan Jr and Corsey McMahan, two sisters: Ruby Bradley and Lucy McMahan.
Mildred dedicated her life to caring for others. She loved to read and study her Bible and was a founding member of Victory Baptist Church.
She is survived by two brothers: Grover McMahan (Evelyn) and Bobby McMahan (Ethel), and a sister-in-law Magdalene McMahan, all of Jackson County. She is also survived by lots of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
The service will be 3pm on Sunday, September 18th at the old Victory Baptist Church. Rev. Eddie Ledford, Rev. Robert Jones, and Rev. Rusty Wolfrey will officiate.. Burial will be in the Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-3pm one hour prior to the service at the church.
