Obituary for Michael Carl Nation
Michael Carl Nation, 52, of Bradenton, FL, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023.
Michael was born in Abbeville, SC on February 4, 1971. He was the son of Linda Willis Nation Evans and the late Marshall Victory Nation, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Victory Nation, Jr. As a young boy living in Franklin, he attended Longview Baptist church. Michael was an avid Carolina Panthers fan, loved to scuba dive and all other watersports. He will be remembered for his quick smile whenever he met anyone.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Willis Nation Evans of Franklin, NC; two sisters, Michelle Heard (Zack) and Dedra Justus, both of Travelers Rest, SC; seven nephews, Jesse, Gregory, Nate, Eli, Jacob, Thad, and Isaac; and one niece, Gracie.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 8, in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Brandon Breedlove will officiate. Burial will be in the Iotla Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am, one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
The family request memorial donations to go the Iotla Baptist Church Youth Group.
