Obituary for Megan Lennon (Kinnison)
Megan Kinnison Lennon, 35, of Orlando, FL made her journey to heaven on October 2, 2022. She was born October 17, 1986 in Clearwater, FL to Richard D. and Phyllis Kinnison. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, aunt, granddaughter, and friend.
Megan was an avid dog lover and supported dog rescue charities. She enjoyed baking, crafting, and holiday seasons, especially Christmas. She also loved traveling to Cedar Key, FL for annual vacations with family and also going on cruises with her husband Chad. Megan and Chad also completed many half and full marathons.
Megan was a graduate of the University of South Florida, while her husband Chad was a graduate of University of Central Florida. Megan and Chad enjoyed the “house divided” rivalry during football season. Chad was finally able to talk Megan into becoming a UCF football season ticket holder and she even wore UCF colors to home games, when UCF wasn’t playing USF.
Megan is preceded in death by her grandparents Richard C. and Mae Belle Kinnison, as well as Uncle Doug Pyle. Megan is survived by her parents Richard D. and Phyllis Kinnison (Franklin, NC), grandparents Phil and Edie Thompson (Lecanto, FL), husband Chad Lennon (Orlando, FL), Sister Brittani Schiavone and family (Long Island, NY), as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
A ceremony will be held near Palm Harbor, FL in November. A separate invitation will be sent to family and friends for Megan’s ceremony. In lieu of flowers, family is asking you to consider donating to the following:
