Mary Burdell Justice Young, age 95, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Britthaven of Franklin.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late B.W. Justice and Rosa Duvall Justice. She was preceded in death by her husband Wymer Young in 1994 and a grandson, Larry Young. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.
Burdell is survived by four sons and their wives, Kenneth Young and wife Faye of Burnsville, NC, Charles D. Young and wife Margaret of Jacksonville, FL, Douglas Young and wife Hattie of Franklin and Richard Young and wife Gail of Franklin; two sisters, Helen Ammons of Waynesville, NC and Virginia Pattillo of Bryson City; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 18, in the Chapel Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Judson Hall will officiate. Burial will be in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Young, Steve Green, Tommy Young, Mike Young, David McCracken, Tim Trexler and Keith Young.
