Mariea J. Bryson, 60, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009.
Born in Mt. Clemens, MI, she was the daughter of Jesse Harrell of Michigan, and the late Dorothy J. Burnette Harrell. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by brother, Ricky Harrell. She was active at Cullasaja Elementary School as P.T.O President and volunteer; was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader and Softball coach. Mariea was a loving mother and grandmother. She attended Sugarfork Baptist Church.
In addition to her father she is survived by her husband, Mike Bryson of Franklin; four children, Lori Jarvis and husband Danny of Asheville, Mandy Klepper and husband Eric of Beaufort, SC, Melinda Carpenter and husband Dennis of Franklin and Matthew Bryson and wife Monica of Columbia, SC; siblings, Pam Jacobsen of Oklahoma, Debbie Harrell, Patsy Hastings, Randy Harrell, Kim Seitz and Tammie Byers all of Michigan; eight grandchildren, Joey Corbin and wife Candice, Jenna Jarvis, Aiden Bryson, Lydia Klepper, Abby Carpenter, Chloe Bryson, Avery Carpenter and Ethan Klepper; great-grandson, C.J. Corbin and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2009 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
