Marie N. Colaianni, 82, of Franklin, NC, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Domenico LaColla and Natalina Scuderi LaColla. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter M. Colainanni; two daughters, Felicia Grippo and Natalin Cola and son in law, Dominick Tosto. Marie was a founding member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Oakland Park, FL.

She is survived by two daughters, Rosemarie Tosto of Cumming, GA and Jo Anne Rizzutto of North Lauderdale, FL; two sons, Michael Colaianni and wife Joy of Ft. Lauderdale and Peter Colaianni of Franklin; eight grandchildren; five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Oakland Park, FL. Burial will be in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 p.m. Monday, December 28 at the church. The family will serve as Pallbearers. Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
