Margie Louise Conley Grant, 91, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Fred Conley and Hattie Roane Conley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Grant who passed away in 1970; a son, James L. Grant and two brothers, Rondal Conley and Marvin Conley. Margie has spent most of her life in Franklin and was a cook at Longview Steak House. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Pat Bennett and husband Tommy of Franklin; two grandchildren, Tammy Stiles and husband Jamie of Franklin and Todd Bennett and wife Sharon of Franklin; Two great grandchildren, Grant and Kellen Stiles of Franklin and two nieces, Lynn Rogers and Melinda Buchanan.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 25, in the Chapel of First Presbyterian Church. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Stiles, Todd Bennett, Michael Geoghagan, Clint Geoghagan, Matt Mason and Gary Mason.
