Margaret Katherine Elizabeth Johnson, 94, of Franklin, was ushered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whom she had faithfully served throughout her life, Saturday, March 29, 2008.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Nelson and Elizabeth Erickson Nelson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Johnson who died in 1972 and a brother, James Nelson. She attended First Alliance Church. Margaret was a talented pianist and singer.

She is survived by two daughters, Lt. Col. Retired Grace Phyllis Johnson of Franklin and Beverly Ruth Lynn and husband Gene of Franklin; three grandchildren, Kristina Lynn and her beloved Stacy Guffey and his son James Guffey of Franklin, Bruce Lynn and wife Amy and their daughter Summer Miriam Lynn of Germany and Timothy Lynn and wife Jennifer of Franklin; sister-in-law, Emma Nelson of Phoenix, AR; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, April 4, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Pastor Lynn Dulakis and Pastor Al Beck will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at Macon Funeral Home.
