Marcia Renn Thompson, 52, of Franklin, NC, entered into rest Tuesday, November 29, 2005.

Born in Raleigh, NC, she spent most of her life in Ocala, FL. She was the daughter of Margaret Peebles and the late Edward Renn. She was co-owner of Dennis the Plumber plumbing business.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Dennis Thompson; one son, Tommy Thompson of Franklin; two sisters, Julie McQuaig and her husband, William of Ocala, FL and Linda Bakai of Ft. Myers, FL ; half sister, Carol Short of Henderson, NC and several nieces.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Ocala Florida.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Angel Hospice Foundation, PO Box 815, Franklin, NC 28744.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
