Obituary for Manfred Friedrich Wilhelm Judernatz

Manfred Friedrich Wilhelm  Judernatz
Manfred Friedrich Wilhelm Judernatz, 84, of Franklin, NC, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008.

Born in Falkensee, Germany, he was the son of the late Wilhelm Judernatz and Elli Bock Judernatz. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Ingeburg Duvenbeck Judernatz, who died in 1976. He was a Civil Engineer and owned Otto Engineering. He was a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Manfred was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Franklin.

He is survived by two children, Michael Judernatz and wife Anna of Elkhorn, NE and Marion Carmichael and husband Russell of Gillette, WY; two sisters, Marianne Dorey of Tuscan, AZ and Brigitte Sledge of Olathe, KS; four grandchildren, Jennifer Wiehl, Joshua Hall, Jeremy Judernatz and Daniel Judernatz; two great-grandchildren, Zachary Judernatz and Addison Judernatz.

Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Resurrection Lutheran Church. Pastor Roseman will officiate. A reception will follow the service at Macon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Omaha, Nebraska.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Kings of Kings Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska. Pastor Mark Zander will be officiating.
