Obituary for Madge Mobley (Bryson)

Madge Bryson Mobley, 87, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007.

Born in Raleigh, NC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Newton Bryson and Leona E. Sadler. She was married to the late James Mobley who died August 20, 2003. Madge was a member of The Church of God of Waynesville.

She is survived by three daughters, Gale Mobley Meigs and Dale Mobley Cobb both of Franklin, NC and Bonnie Mobley Spraul of Birmingham, AL; three sisters, Mildred B. Lewis of Charlotte, NC, Ethyleen B. Hobbs of Raleigh, NC and Betty B. Gregory of Franklin, NC; six grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Brian O'dell will officiate. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Hall, James Meigs, Donald Cobb, Phillip Hall, Jr., Charles Bryson and Leslie Bryson.
