Lisa Marie McDonald Stepp, 43, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of Lorretta Cabe McDonald, John McDonald and Kenneth Mashburn all of Franklin. Lisa was a CNA at Angel Medical Center and a member of Cowee Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Teddy Stepp; paternal grandfather, Fred McDonald; three sons, Joshua Stepp, Jeremy Stepp and Jacob Stepp all of Franklin; a brother, Michael McDonald and wife Sharon of Franklin; two step-brothers, Jeff Shook of Asheville and John Shook of Franklin and two nieces, Kaydence McDonald and Addison McDonald. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Tommy Fouts and Rev. Lloyd Fish will officiate. Burial will be at Ridge Crest Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, at Macon Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Tommy Cabe, John Shook, Jeff Shook, Joey Curtis, Sam Kelly and David Croston. Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
