Linda Cook Picking, 65, of Franklin, passed away Friday, February 22, 2008.
Born in Ware, MA, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Jean Baggs Cook. She was married to the late John Picking who passed away in July 2007. She attended First Methodist Church and loved her friends and family dearly.
Mrs. Picking is survived by one daughter, Tanya L. Picking of Chicopee, MA; one son, Edward A. Maia of Monson, MA; one sister, Margaret Cook of Cary, NC; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Cardaropolli, Patrick Maia and Mark Maia; four great grandchildren; and three nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Allen will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
