Lillian  Fouts (Beeco)
Lillian Beeco Fouts, 88, of Franklin, passed away Friday, September 25, 2009.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Claude Beeco and Bessie Brendle Beeco. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Fouts who died in 2005 and several brothers and sisters. Lillian was a U.S. veteran of the Women’s Army Corp. (WAC) and was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved square dancing, raising roses and gardening; and was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by five children, Linda Brogden and husband Mack of Franklin, Marlene Barham and husband Kyle of Alabama, Darlene McDowell and husband Bill of Franklin, Steve Fouts and wife Elena of Asheville and Terry Fouts of Colorado; brother, Bob Beeco and wife Doris of Commerce, GA; sister, Mildred Willis of Decatur, GA; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, September 28, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Wesley Price and Rev. Jerry Willis will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery alongside her twin brother Bill.

The family will receive friends from 2-3:30 p.m. Monday, prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Joel Bragg, Brandon McDowell, Dustin Brogden, Mike Contino, Greg Otey, Michael Peek and Eric Hendrix.

Memorial donations can be made to one’s favorite charity.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
