Larry Murray Duvall, 60, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2007;

Born in Macon County, he was the son of Louise Murray Duvall and the late Fred Garland Duvall. He was a 1965 graduate of Franklin High School. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving two years including a tour of duty in Vietnam. Larry was an auto mechanic for Berry Tire Service.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son Todd Duvall and wife April of Franklin: step daughter Tina Nesbit and husband Carl of Franklin, one brother David Duvall and wife Margaret of Aynor SC; three grandchildren, Colby Duvall, Larry Nesbit and Kimberly Nesbit, all of Franklin, one nephew Chris Duvall; one niece Mandy Duvall; several aunts and uncles residing in Franklin whom he loved very much and supported him throughout his illness.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Reverend Lloyd Fish and Reverend David Powell will officiate. Burial will be in the Cowee Baptist Cemetery with military rites conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108.

The family will receive friends from 10 - 11 AM Wednesday at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Dale Duvall, Charles Berry, Jimmy Teem, Johnny Teem, Eric Duvall and Carl Nesbit.
