Kitsie T. Lansing, 87, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010.

Born in Middletown, NY, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Tether and Bertha Lain Tether. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. Houston Wilson Jr.; second husband, Renice Lansing who died June 24, 2008 and a brother, James Edward Tether Jr. Kitsie served during WWII in the Army Nursing Corps and was a retired RN. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by four children, Houston Wilson III of Copenhagen, Denmark; David Wilson of Seabring, FL, Dr. Kitsie Hendrix of Memphis, TN and Betsy Whitlock of Franklin; a step daughter, Jerri Stoner of Archer, FL; twelve grandchildren, London Kruger, Kitsie Harmon, Houston Wilson IV, Jonas Wilson, David Wilson Jr., Christopher Wilson, Michelle Gaeta, Scott Wilson, Bart Ethredge Jr., Dr. Amanda Whitlock, Scott Stoner and John Stoner and many great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Tuscaloosa Memorial Park in Tuscaloosa, AL.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, at Macon Funeral Home.
