Kathryn Freiburger Cooley, 87, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008.

Born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Leo J. and Estelle Seymour Freiburger. She is also preceded in death by one brother, Alfred L. Freiburger of Westminster, CA. She was a registered nurse and was employed at the San Diego Blood Bank in San Diego, CA. The Cooley's moved from San Diego, CA to Franklin in1989. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Cooley is survived by her husband of sixty six years, Robert L. Cooley Sr.; two sons, Robert Cooley Jr. of El Cajon, CA and Bruce R. Cooley of Albuquerque, NM; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Matthew Kauth will officiate.
