Obituary for Judy Ann Haire (Holland)

Judy Ann Holland Haire, 56, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007.

A native of Macon County, she is the daughter of the late Ernest and Pauline "Scoot" Rowland Holland. Judy was a homemaker; she loved gardening and flowers; was an avid fisherman; was treasurer of Pine Grove Restoration Society; and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, cherished mother and adoring nanny.

She is survived by her husband of thirty years, Wayne Haire; four daughters, Alisha Woodard and husband, Mike, Marci Holland and husband, Robby, Julie Tastinger and husband, John, all of Franklin and Jackie Whiteside and husband, Jay of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Jill Yeary; two brothers, Perry and Jimmy Holland; nine grandchildren, Haley, Mikayla, Danae, Courtney, John, Trey, Jayla, Anna, and Elise; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 6, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be The Honor Guard of The Macon County Sheriff's Office.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Right to Life 512 10th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20004 or Pine Grove Restoration Society, 799 Peeks Creek Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
