Juanita Morgan Cartwright, 81, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2006.

A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Ulyess Sanders and Nannie Mae Carpenter Sanders. She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Charles Harold Morgan who died in 1972, second husband, Thurman Anderson who died in 1987 and third husband, Ronald Cartwright who died in 2004. Juanita worked at Longview Steakhouse for many years. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

She is survived by four children, Charles Harold Morgan, Jr. and wife Chris of Franklin, Rita Crawford and husband Rick of Franklin, Gary Lawrence Morgan and wife Mary Ann of Clyde, and Karen Dalrymple and husband Russell of Franklin; brother Cecil Sanders of Michigan; sister, Beulah Mae Ledbetter of Ohio; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Gary McCoy and Rev. Mike Bias will officiate. Burial will be in the Watauga Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Steve Byrd, Jonathan Byrd, Charlie Byrd, Michael Morgan, Matthew Morgan, Adam Johnson, Scott Harris and Dustin Morgan.

Memorial donations may be made to the Westcare Hospice, 132 Sylva Plaza, Sylva, NC 28779.
