Joyce Crisp Jones Stiwinter, 64, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010.
Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of the late Fred L. Crisp Sr. and Hessie Rachael Grant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sister, Hazel Hylton and Marie Smith and brother, Troy Crisp Sr. Joyce was a CNA and worked for Angel Home Health & Hospital. She was active in Relay for Life; loved to read and complete crossword puzzles; enjoyed gardening and loved to be with her grandchildren. She was a member of First Pentecost Assembly of God.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Lee Roy Stiwinter; two children, Steve Jones and wife Sherry of Maryville, Tennessee and Crystal Stiwinter, of the home; three sisters, Blanche Younce, Gladys Gibson and Shirley Hodgins all of Franklin; three brothers, Gene Crisp, Doug Crisp and Fred L. Crisp Jr. all of Franklin; two grandsons, Stephen D. Jones II and Michael D. Jones and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Reed and Rev. Phillip Cochran will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverview United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, at Macon Funeral Home.
