Obituary for Joyce Anderson Mann (Ellis)

Joyce Anderson  Mann (Ellis)
Joyce Ellis Anderson Mann, 65, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007.

Born in Hall County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Henry Wade Ellis and Mellie Armour Ellis. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Anderson and a son, Mickey Anderson. Joyce was a member of the Windy Gap Baptist Church and member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was co-founder of Make A Wish Foundation. She worked with her husband James at Franklin Sheet Metal. Joyce was a caregiver and volunteer.

She is survived by her husband, James Mann, Sr.; daughter, Joette Haller and husband Tim of Franklin; son, Phil Anderson and wife Muffin of Murrayville, GA; step sons, Keith Mann and Tommy Mann both of Franklin; two brothers, Jimmy Ellis and wife Elaine of Oakwood, GA and Harold Ellis and wife Donna of Murrayville, GA; sister-in-laws, Barbara Ledford and husband Raymond of Sylva and Jo Mann of Franklin; grandchildren, Timmy and Freddy Haller and Chelsea, Nick and Brett Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, November 12, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Rogers and Rev. Mark Bishop will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Monday, at Macon Funeral Home.
