One of the first people I met when I moved to Franklin in 1973 was Harry Moses, Joe's brother. Soon thereafter, I met Joe. They were two of the finest people ever and I enjoyed them both tremendously. Then came the day when my future wife, Lynda, moved to town from Brevard and found that she was related to them, as her grandparents were Moses. We have certainly missed the good life in Franklin since we moved away in 1987 and really missed the times and conversations with Joe. To his family and many friends, may many pleasant memories make you smile. RIP, Joe.

Ole Joe, What a character!!! He certainly enjoyed life and I loved hearing about his adventures. He and Mrs. Moses were always so good to me. There were times that we just sat and talked, rather than doing the things I was hired to do. I know he will be missed.
His family is in my thoughts and prayers,

Joe has been such a big blessing to Becky and I this year that we have known him. Totally blessed by Joe when he said his favorite song was "Because He Lives." We will miss Joe's smile, fellowship and conversations while we are here on this earth. Praying the Lord's comfort for all his family and friends. Danny and Becky Prince
