Obituary for John Randall Turner
John Randall Turner, 49, of Franklin, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 after a period of declining health.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Audrey “Ann” Benson Leisenring and the late John Thomas Turner. John was a real car guy and loved to share his knowledge of cars while working in the automobile parts department of a local car dealership. He enjoyed playing the guitar and drums, video gaming, and watching football. His favorite teams were the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Carolina Panthers.
In addition to his mother, Audrey “Ann” Benson Leisenring of Elmira, NY, he is survived by his wife and best friend, Nikki Lynn Scoglietti Turner; and four children, Kaitlyn Marie Turner of San Antonio, TX, Zackary Nicholas Pazar of Raleigh, NC, Emily Rose Pazar of Franklin, NC, and Alexander Jason Pazar also of Franklin, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6pm to 7pm on Saturday, January 20, at Macon Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 7pm on Saturday, January 20, at Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Stephens will officiate. The burial will be at a later date at Addington Cemetery in Franklin, NC.
Honorary Pallbearers will be coworkers of Andy Shaw Ford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given directly to the family to help with expenses.
