Jessie A. Mashburn, 90, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009.
Born in Macon Co. she was the daughter of the late Jesse Stewman and Elizabeth Ann Moore Stewman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dean F. Mashburn who passed away December 27, 2007; daughter, Shirley Jean Mashburn and several brothers and sisters. Jessie loved her flower gardens and was a member of Sugarfork Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Mashburn and wife Judy of Franklin; daughter, Linda Cabe and husband Steve of Millers Creek, NC; sister, Mildred Stewman Wykle of Brevard, NC; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Alton Dendy and Rev. Vic Greene will officiate. Burial will be in the Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Joey Neal, Josh Stepp, David Bradley, John Shook and Jeff Shook.
Lloyd Stewman will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
