Jane Caroline Privette, 58, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2009.
Born in St. Pete, FL, she was the daughter of Jane Foster Humphrey and the late James Humphrey. She was a teacher in Jackson Co. and was a member of the Republican Women’s Club. Jane attended Victory Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, Jane is survived by her husband of 29 years, Peter Edwin Privette; son, Nicholas Peter Privette of Ft. Benning, GA; four brothers, Douglas Humphrey of Crystal River, FL, James Humphrey of Mooresville, NC, Michael Humphrey of Safety Harbor, FL and Dr. Kevin Humphrey of Jonesboro, AK and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2009 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Benny Bagwell and Rev. Buddy Driggers will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Macon Funeral Home.
The family will serve as pallbearers.
