Obituary for James Robert "Jimmy" Elliott, Jr.

James "Jimmy" Robert Elliott, Jr., 24, of Franklin, passed away Monday, February 12, 2007.

A native of Macon County, he was the son of James R. "Tweetie" Elliott, Sr. and Kelly Crawford Elliott of Franklin. He worked at the Franklin Lanes (Bowling Alley) as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James E. Crawford, Sr. and Gene Elliott.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé Amber Willis of Franklin; sister, Jamie Cole of Lavonia, GA; grandmothers, Diane Crawford and Alice Holleman both of Franklin; niece Payton Elliott Sontag; nephew Matthew Riley Messer; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 16, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Holland will officiate. Burial will be in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, February 15, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Crawford, Josh Crawford, Adam Crawford, Scott Hedden, Travis Hedden and Ricardo Stoehrel.

Memorial donations may be made to the family.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
