Inez Morgan Tippett, 89, of Franklin, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 18, 2005.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Morgan and Eva Hedden Morgan. She was married to the late John Dee Tippett who died in 1969 and was preceded in death by a son Earl Tippett who died in 1939. She was a member of Watauga Baptist Church.

She is survived by three children, Jim Tippett and wife Laverne, Carolyn Hixon and husband Thomas and Glenda Gladwell and husband Max all of Franklin; five grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 20, at Watauga Baptist Church. Rev. Wesley Price and Rev. Roy Lowe will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ray Sanders, Jack Sanders, Bob Morgan, Ronnie Mason, Troy Ledford and Alvin Johnson.
