Obituary for Howell Sapp

Howell Sapp, 84, of Decatur, GA, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010.

Born in Douglas, GA, he was the son of the late Eli Sapp and Mary Worth Sapp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and six brothers. He was a US Army Veteran and served in WWII. Howell was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta and served as a deacon and member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Grand Masonic Lodge of Macon, GA and Shriner. He was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Bradley Sapp of Decatur, GA; brother in law, Weaver Bradley of Kernersville, NC; sister in law, Patricia Bradley of Alexandria, VA and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 13, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Judson Hall will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Macon Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
