Hobert Ray Reneau, 78, of Franklin, passed away Friday, August 14, 2009.
Born in Townsend, Tennessee, he was the son of the late William Pink Reneau and Ethel Mae Sharp Reneau. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Lambert Reneau; second wife, Reva Queen Reneau; a son, Eddie Reneau and seven brothers and sisters. Hobert was a US Air Force veteran; member of First Baptist Church; worked for Harrison Construction where he was operations manager over Dillsboro, Franklin and Murphy quarries.
He is survived by a daughter Robin Jenkins and husband Tommy of Franklin; son, Tim Reneau of Columbia, SC; daughter-in-law Audrey Reneau of Hendersonville; five grandchildren, Stephen Reneau, Lauren Reneau, Thomas Jenkins, Josh Lathan and Nick Reneau and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be held at 11 am Monday, August 17 at Grandview Cemetery, Maryville, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 16, at Macon Funeral Home.
