Hazel Jane Wood, 94, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Born in Canon City, CO, she was the daughter of the late Taliaferro Witcher and Hazel Coates Witcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wood. She is survived by four children, Jayne Milyss Moody of Franklin, Christina Rouwhorst of Sarasota, FL, Richard Pearce of Honolulu, HI and JoAnne Ganeko of California; thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. No Services have been planned at this time. Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
