Gladys P. Harry, 94, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Grady Peek and Myrtle Brendle Welch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Jimmy Harry. Gladys was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was active in many churches during her life; was Sunday school teacher for many years and worked with young children. She will be remembered as a faithful servant of the Lord.
She is survived by her devoted cousin, Jane Brendell of Franklin who was married to the late Gilbert Brendell; five brothers and sisters, Louise Parker, Ray Welch, Jessie Southard and Carol Angel all of Franklin and Duboice Welch of Hendersonville; several nieces and nephews and extended family also survive.
Graveside Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, GA. Rev. Benny Bagwell will officiate.
