Obituary for Ginny Rebecca Reeves
Ginny Rebecca Reeves, 46, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Steve and Debbie Fossick Reeves. Ginny received both a bachelor’s in musical Education and a bachelor's degree in Nursing. She was a critical care registered nurse and had been recently working as a traveling nurse. Ginny loved singing, playing the piano, painting, and board games; she was very competitive. She was a member of the Iotla Baptist Church. Recently, she found out that she was about to become a “Gigi” and she was so excited about it. She also loved her two beloved dogs, Ginger and Kirby.
Ginny is survived by her parents, Rev. Steve Reeves and Debbie Fossick Reeves of Franklin; her beautiful three children, Bethany Reeves, Kylie Bates (and soon to be first born grandchild), and Cole Bates (Jaiden Vanhook) all of Franklin; one brother, Steve Reeves of Leicester, NC; and a very special cousin, Michelle Dowdle of Franklin (who she loved like a sister).
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, March 08, 2022, at Iotla Baptist Church, from 1pm – 2pm.
A service for Ginny will be held on Tuesday, March 08, 2022, at Iotla Baptist Church, at 2pm.
Rev. Brandon Breedlove will officiate.
