Geraldine Stockton Cunningham, 67, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2006.

A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Bertha Street Stockton. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Geraldine retired from Angel Medical Center where she worked in the dietary department.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jesse C. Cunningham; two daughters, Wanda Norris and husband Tony of Otto and Shelia Bowers and husband John of Tuckasegee; one son, Gary Cunningham and wife Lisa of Sylva; one brother, Larry Stockton of Alto, GA; one sister, Brenda Bowers of Franklin; five grandchildren, Ryan Angel, Nicole Norris, Christie Denny, Wayne Cunningham and Jarrett Cunningham; one great grandson, Ty Hamlin and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Josh Brooks and Rev. Eddie Stillwell will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, at Macon Funeral Home.
