Obituary for Gene Willis Teem

Gene Willis  Teem
Gene Willis Teem, 72, of Franklin, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010.

Born in Macon Co. he was the son of the late Herman Teem and Alma Moses Teem. He was a Real Estate Appraiser and builder; loved to trade and collect antiques and go to auctions; was past president of the Lions Club and Jacycees and was a member, trustee and Adult Sunday School Teacher at Grace Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Green Teem; two children, Debbie George and husband Donald of Franklin and Sylvia Cochran and husband Gary of Clyde, NC; four step children, Anna Campbell and husband Randy of Franklin, Crystal Silvers and husband Chris of Andrews, Julie Stewart and husband Harley of Barnardsville, NC and Paul Duvall of Franklin; a sister, Carolyn Hurst of Franklin; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren; five step grandchildren and a niece.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Frank Rodriguez and Rev. Randy Campbell will officiate. A Private Burial will be held at Sugarfork Baptist Church Thursday morning.
