Obituary for Freddie Elmer Pinner

Fred Pinner, 61, of Franklin, NC, formerly of Okeechobee, FL, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008.

Born in Orlando, FL, he was the son of the late Ted Pinner and Ruth Hall Pinner. Fred was a US Marine Corps Veteran and was a Purple Heart Recipient during the Vietnam War. He was a supervisor for Shaw Utility in Florida and had lived in Franklin since 2001; he was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Franklin.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Thompson Pinner of Franklin, NC, formerly of Okeechobee, FL; five children, Ami Williamson and husband Tony, Keith Pinner both of Mulberry, FL, Robert Schaeffer of Ocala, FL, Brenda Laker and husband Sean of Danielsville, GA and Jason Clark and wife Bonnie of Okeechobee, FL; sister, Carrie Butler and husband Carl of Ft. Myers, FL; thirteen grandchildren and two nephews.

Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. Keith Newell will officiate.

Memorial donations can be made to Memorial United Methodist General Fund.
